Still reading? Let’s catch up! So I haven’t left Southern California all year, but in the past few weeks I finally got my travel in. A wonderful weekend with my family in Santa Rosa, and then the epic trip: John and Courtney’s wedding in New York, then I drove down to Pennsylvania to connect with one of my favorite people on the planet, and then I flew to Boulder, Colorado to have my mind blown at the Integral Center. Since I’ve been back I have really been loving the person that I have become, that I have accepted, have developed, and in many ways simply stumbled upon.

As for my musical half, Ezekiel Jay, I’ve got brand new songs in the pipeline and I’m starting to bring them out to the band. There are enough songs for half a record at this point but I’d like to have so many that I can even cut some out when it’s recording time. That’s right, another record is coming! And it will be bigger than anything I’ve ever done (I wonder how much Slash would charge to play lead on a track). I’m still not stressing too much, thanks to my mind-adjustment in Boulder, but something’s gotta give soon. I think I need a manager…

Oh and then there’s the Danny and the Tramp craziness! Last night on Tim Pyles’ radio show we were honored to deliver the first ever totally shirtless acoustic performance by a local band! We got away with it because we’re nominated for a San Diego Music Award for best Rock Album, so come out to the SDMAs on October 6th to see if we take it home!
